We started Ruffpup with one simple belief: dogs deserve more than obedience—they deserve love, confidence, and a happy life with their families. Our team isn’t just made up of trainers; we’re lifelong animal lovers committed to helping pets (and their humans) thrive.

I have 2 mini schnauzer that I put in the day camp. One of my schnauzers was not good with other dogs and children. She learned to stay calm and ignore children running around. Andrew and Bentlee should me how to work with her on her reactivity. She learned so much and is much better behaved. My other dog is really nervous and got really reactive when she saw someone was coming towards us. Andrew and Bentlee showed me how to practice with her and helped me learn to deal with the anxiety she has. It was so helpful to see how they practiced with her so I can keep practicing with her. They were really patient with her. They were willing to meet her at her level and were willing to work with her even if it took a little longer. I really appreciate. The evening classes are great. It helps me work with both dogs by having training a couple of times a week. I also have learned how to better work with my dogs. I can ask questions about how to get a better response from them. The dogs run to the garage when I tell them it is time to go to doggie school. It's a fun for both of us to practice at class. It is a time we both look forward to.
Andrew and Bentley were absolutely incredible to work with! From the very beginning, they kept us informed, encouraged us, and gave us practical skills to work on at home. Their level of knowledge and expertise is unmatched, and what stood out most was their focus on developing and maintaining confidence in our relationship with our dog, Mabel. The six-week program was incredible and worth every single penny. Before training, Mabel struggled with overreactive behaviors and leash walking was a daily challenge. Now, she is calm, confident, and a joy to walk. She’s thriving with her crate training, leash manners, and threshold obedience—all of which have made everyday life so much easier and more enjoyable. The transformation has been amazing. Mabel is not only more obedient but also happier and more balanced, and our bond with her has grown stronger than ever. We are so grateful to Andrew and Bentley for their guidance, patience, and dedication. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for lasting results and a stronger relationship with their dog!
Loved Ruff Pup dog training. Milo was so good for them and has done so amazing. Usually when I take him anywhere my family was always, “why did you bring your bratty dog with you?” I took him to the family reunion in July and he was so well behaved and I got so many compliments on him. If I I ever get another dog I will be taking them there for training.P.S.picture of Milo at my family reunion
We were not good at socializing our German Shepherd. He was anxious around people & showed it aggressively. He did the day camps at Ruff Pup and was socialized & can now be taken places & we can have people over without any problems. He also listens so much better & will go to his place in the house. I highly recommend RuffPup! They made our life so much easier!
We entrusted Ruff Pup with our Yorkshire Terrier and after 4 weeks of boarding with them and daily training, our puppy returned home well-trained. The ongoing support Ruff Pup makes choosing them a no-brainer.
As first-time dog owners, we were struggling and nearly gave up on having a dog until we found Ruff Pup Dog Training. Andrew and his team worked miracles with our mini-poodle Daisy during their 4-week course. The transformation is incredible - our once-unruly pup is now well-behaved! They didn't just train Daisy, they taught us how to be better dog owners too. If you're feeling overwhelmed or lost with your dog, this is the place to go. 100% recommend for any dog owner, especially beginners like us. Worth every penny!

No. You can attend and benefit from the workshop without bringing your dog. Unless a specific event says otherwise, the workshop is designed primarily for owners to learn, observe demonstrations, and ask questions.
You will learn how dogs think, communicate, and learn, along with practical guidance on structure, confidence, enrichment, routine, and preventing common behavior problems. We will also introduce the Ruff Pup Hierarchy of Needs and demonstrate how these principles apply in everyday life.
Yes. The workshop can help you better understand reactivity, anxiety, and the needs that may be influencing your dog’s behavior. Because dogs are not required to attend, you can learn in a calm setting without placing your dog in an uncomfortable environment. Contact Ruff Pup before bringing a reactive or anxious dog to a workshop.
Attendees receive practical training strategies, access to live demonstrations and questions and answers, and follow-up educational resources, including the Ruff Pup Hierarchy of Needs guide. You will also learn about additional classes, community events, and support available through Ruff Pup.
