We teach your dog to walk politely on a leash through loose leash walking (helps your dog walk calmly without pulling), and listen to commands in various environments.

Follow-Up Training

I absolutely love Ruff Pup! My dog Sunny goes 4 times a week and absolutely loves it. He has hated every other daycare we have ever tried and would resist getting out of the car. With this one, if I’m running a few minutes late he starts whining at me to let me know it’s time to go. They treat the dogs incredibly well. Every person who works there is phenomenal. Oh and they do a great job with grooming too!

We have a Border Collie mix, almost 2 y/o. As a puppy he was reactive to anything that moved and had resource guarding issues (toys, food bowl). Andrew and his team taught us to redirect these behaviors in a positive way. The tools and methods continue to serve us today. It makes introducing new people, places, and things easy and routine.

Their weekly classes (daily) have been a great place for us to work on many different skills and behaviors. We were recently taught to use an e-collar!! It's a wonderful tool and makes walks and hikes more relaxing and enjoyable.

My puppy Bourbon, loves everyone here. He is an extremely mellow little guy but when he arrives here he is so excited to see everyone. He completed puppy day training and learned so much over those 4 weeks. He now goes to day care and has a few training days a week and I am always happy with the service. How many dogs can you have in your program?

Right now we only have space for 4 dogs in our day camp program

What training methods do you use?

We use positive reinforcement techniques that are both gentle and effective. We also believe in appropriate corrections to help your dog learn both what behaviors are acceptable and what behaviors are not.

Do you work with puppies?

Yes, we love working with dogs of all ages, but especially puppies (who wouldn't). We take dogs that are at least 12 weeks old and up to date for their age on their vaccines.
